| Francesco Totti’s injury has been a positive in Roma’s attempt to qualify for the Champions League, claims teammate Amantino Mancini.
“Everyone thought we were finished after Totti broke his ankle,” the player told the La Repubblica newspaper. “But that has not been the case.”
“Totti is an important player, one who can change the outcome of a game with one touch,” added the Brazilian.
“However, once he did get injured, all of us wanted to prove to the critics that there is still a side here without him.”

“A draw wouldn’t be a bad result,” continued the South American ahead of this weekend’s Florence trip. “But we want to win.
“Are we tired? We have given a lot over the last three months, but I wouldn’t say that we are tired.” |
