Roma wait for the final confirmation on Nice’s part to announce Florent Ghisolfi as their new sporting director.

With Ghisolfi’s imminent arrival to the Italian capital, another member of the French side could soon consider joining forces with the Giallorossi.

As recounted by SiamoLaRoma.it, the capital club have shown interest in Nice midfielder Khepren Thuram who is keen on exploring his transfer options in the summer.

Ghisolfi joining Roma could facilitate a negotiation between sides.

Thuram has made a total of 165 appearances – with 9 goals and 12 assists – during the five seasons he played in Ligue 1 with Nice.

Thuram’s contract expires in June 2025 and therefore he could be sold in the summer for a sum of around 15 million.

The player has also already made it known to Nice that he wants a change of scenery at the end of the season. Milan are also on his trail.

Vincent Candela, sempre vicino alle dinamiche dell'AS Roma, è tornato su uno dei profili seguiti da Florent Ghisolfi all'alba del mercato estivo, durante il quale il club giallorosso dovrà modellare l'organico a immagine e somiglianza di Daniele De Rossi. Il riferimento, chiaro, è a Khephren Thuram, fratello di Marcus e figlio dell'ex Juve Lilian, accostato in queste settimane anche alla Vecchia Signora: "Non è il mio mestiere vedere tutti i giocatori, ma so che ha fatto bene - ha sottolineato Candela a Sky -. La Vecchia Signora è pronta a intavolare la trattativa con il Nizza e punta ad anticipare la folta concorrenza: la richiesta iniziale è di 25 milioni di euro più bonus, ma la Juventus vorrebbe scendere a 18/20 più bonus. Da non escludere l'inserimento di una contropartita come Moise Kean per abbassare ulteriormente le richieste.

Instead, the newspaper reports that Thuram has already given his OK for a move to Juventus.
The player’s entourage are in advanced talks with Juve who are now leading the race.
The Bianconeri hold an advantage over Roma in the form of their Champions League participation which Roma cannot offer.
