Gabriel Batistuta played with both Inter and Roma, so the former Serie A star gives his views on Sunday’s big match and the Giallorossi crisis.
因为效力过罗马和国际米兰,因此巴蒂对周日的这场罗马同国际的比赛相当关注
“This is a difficult result to call,” said the Argentine who now earns his living in Qatar. “What I am certain of is that these two sides have problems in defence and the balance will be broken by a great Champion – Francesco Totti or Adriano, for example.”
“结果很难预料”目前居住在卡塔尔的巴蒂表示:“我只能说两支球队的防守和平衡方面都有问题,但两队都有世界级的攻击型球员——托蒂和阿德里亚诺”
Batistuta’s last two teams in Italy face off against each other at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend and he concentrated on the increasing woes of the Capital club.
“It’s clear that Roma haven’t had the best start to this season, but I am sure that the fans will help the team to emerge from this difficult time. I believe that Gigi Del Neri is the right man to lead them into a revival.”
“很明显罗马在赛季开始阶段并不在最佳状态,但我相信有球迷的支持罗马一定会很快度过这个艰难时刻,我也相信新主教练德尔内里是个合适的人选,他会带领罗马
走出困境”
The ex-Chievo and Porto Coach will make his debut this Sunday evening and has the tricky task of lifting Roma out of their crisis. It’s believed he will leave his trusted 4-4-2 system behind in order to accommodate Totti, Antonio Cassano and Amantino Mancini as support for centre-forward Vincenzo Montella.
Mido should be able to sit on the bench after recovering from an ankle problem much quicker than expected.
Batistuta may have worn the jerseys of these contenders, but the club that remains closest to his heart will always be Fiorentina.
“I am happy for the city and its fans,” noted the man whose statue was placed inside the Stadio Artemio Franchi. “This team deserves to be in Serie A and the type of club created by Diego Della Valle suits Florence perfectly.”
