Vincenzo Montella is set to be punished by Roma after he reportedly refused to play against Real Madrid in midweek.
The Italian international is believed to have ignored caretaker boss Ezio Sella's call to warm-up in preparation to come on as a substitute at El Santiago Bernabeu.
Montella is thought to be furious at being dropped to the bench for the game with Madrid after a good start to the season.
The former Sampdoria hit-man also missed his side's defeat to Bologna last weekend despite having scored four goals this term.
The incident is the latest in the long line of problems to affect the Giallorossi this season and Montella is expected to be hit with a heavy fine by the club.
Roma coach Del Neri must take Montella action

New AS Roma coach Gigi del Neri is set to enter a row with striker Vincenzo Montella.
The striker has had falling outs with previous coaches Fabio Capello, Rudi Voller and Enzio Sella - who left Montella on the bench for Tuesday night's defeat at Real Madrid.
It was suggested Montella refused to enter the field as a substitute, which will now force Del Neri to take disciplinary action.
When Sella asked Montella to warm up, the striker refused and Del Neri will now have to fine him as one of his first serious actions as Roma coach.
