AS Roma To Seal Dacourt Swoop Tomorrow
05/18/2003. AS Roma's director of sport Franco Baldini has confirmed that the club will complete the ?.3 million signing of Olivier Dacourt from Leeds tomorrow.

"We spoke on the telephone and confirmed the terms we had discussed in London during the last few days," he said. "The ?.3m move can be made official on Monday."

The Frenchman joined on loan in January when the Giallorossi secured a ? million option on the player.

However, the Italians were holding out for a ?.6 million deal but now the two parties have agreed on ?.3 million.

（网易体育）5月18日意大利消息，罗马方面确认球队将以330万英镑和租借球员达科特签订转会合同。据意大利方面消息，罗马官方将在当地时间下周一正式公布上述消息，周六罗马口头上和利兹俱乐部达成一致。

罗马运动部总经理巴尔迪尼说道：“我们和利兹互相通了电话，我们确认将在今后几天，在伦敦讨论关于转会的具体细节，预计如果不出意外，周一我们就会通过官方正式宣布达科特以330万英镑转会罗马。”

达科特是在今年一月欧洲冬季转会市场大门开启后从利兹加盟罗马的，当时法国人的转会费为400万英镑，时间为效力至本赛季结束。但是罗马主席森西被要求支付260万英镑的现金，不过森西并没有同意，如今两家俱乐部终于同意以330万英镑达成协议。

达科特和罗马的合同到今年5月22日结束，所以两家俱乐部就达科特的转会谈的比较急促，有消息表示如果罗马没有和达科特达成协议，尤文图斯和AC米兰都希望法国人加盟。

05/20/2003. It is now official. AS Roma agreed to terms with Leeds United over the full ownership of French midfielder Olivier Dacourt.

Roma paid Leeds 5 million Euros for player, who has been with the Giallorossi on loan since January.

The confirmation of the deal arrived at this morning through a fax sent by the Premiership side.
