Vucinic set for Roma Tuesday 27 December, 2005

Roma may look to Mirko Vucinic to fill the gap left by the departure of Antonio Cassano in this summer’s transfer window.
The highly promising 22-year-old striker has scored five times this campaign for Lecce and is thought to be looking for a move to a more illustrious club in the summer.
Vucinic signed for Lecce in 2000 and came to the attention of the big clubs with last season’s impressive tally of 17 league goals.
Lecce President Carlo Regalia has stated that he wants at least £7m for the Serbian marksman, under contract until 2009, and today stressed that he wants to wait until June to do business with Roma.
