Roma's Luciano Spalletti has two names on his wish list this summer and is confident of keeping his existing jewels.
After finishing as runners-up, the onus is on the Giallorossi to galvanise the ranks this summer so they can go one better next time around.
But while the media link the capital club to a host of new faces, Spalletti has a couple in mind.
“We are lacking two players, not six,” he told Roma Uno. “I would choose Samuel Eto’o and Gianluca Zambrotta, if I could have anyone.”
“我们只缺少两名球员而不是六名，如果有任何人的话我会选择Eto’o和Zambrotta” （拜托，就算换了老板也不是那么容易的）
The future of Brazilian wizard Amantino Mancini looks increasingly unlikely to lie at the Stadio Olimpico, but Spalletti is still hopeful.
“If anyone has to leave then they will be replaced to keep their position covered,” he said.

“Mancini? To have a good relationship with someone doesn’t necessarily mean coming to an agreement with that person.

Azzurri midfielder Alberto Aquilani, who is an alleged Arsenal target, is almost certain to remain at Roma and is set to extend his current deal.
“He has said the right things,” Spalletti explained. “He was the only person I phoned at Coverciano.

“I spoke to him on Monday evening and he said exactly what he said to the Press to me.”

For now, goalkeeper Alexander Doni has signed a contract extension midfield ace Daniele De Rossi should follow suit.
“There won’t be any problems because the club know the player that he is,” the Tuscan tactician asserted.
“He has shown his attachment to the shirt on lots of occasions and will remain linked to this project.”
