意大利准备把罗马olimpico和米兰sansiro拿去申办08或09欧冠决赛.更重要的,无法不让人期望罗马到时候能在家门口把大耳朵杯举起!
"Italy have put forward Rome’s Stadio Olimpico and Milan’s San Siro as candidates to stage the Champions League Final.
The race is on to assign an arena for the Finals in 2008 and 2009, so the Italian Federation has handed a dossier to UEFA in Nyon to propose their largest stadia.
The last Italian city to host a Champions League Final was Milan’s Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in 2001, when Bayern Munich beat Valencia on penalties.
The Olimpico staged the Final in 1996 with Juventus triumphant over Ajax on home soil, also after a shoot-out, as the game had ended 1-1.
Other candidates for the 2008 or 2009 host include Moscow’s 84,000-seat Luzhniki Olympic Stadium.
What might count against the Italians is the recent crowd trouble that has marred both arenas.
Roma’s tie with Dynamo Kiev was abandoned last season after referee Anders Frisk was struck by a coin thrown from the stands, while Inter received a four-match order to play behind closed doors after flares forced the suspension of the Milan derby.
The Final for this season’s edition will be played in the Stade de France in Paris on May 17 and the Olympic Stadium in Athens is hosting the 2007 showpiece."
