JOEY BARTON admits he is contemplating life away from the Premiership in a last-ditch bid to preserve his career. The disgraced Manchester City midfielder was arrested this week after an alleged attack on team-mate Ousmane Dabo. Hot-head Barton, 24, has told pals he wants to escape the pressure-cooker of the Premiership. But his boyhood club Everton and Newcastle are leading the chase for his signature, followed by Roma, Atletico Madrid and Hamburg. A source close to the player said: “Joey doesn’t want to give up on his England career. He’d love to stay at City but that door now seems closed. “The club will accept the £5.5million buyout clause in his contract. “The opportunity to play overseas will take him out of the spotlight in the UK. “He is desperate to focus on his football away from outside influences. “And he sees Owen Hargreaves’ development at Bayern Munich as proof his England career could be salvaged by playing abroad.” 巴顿在训练时殴打了自己的队友达博因此将会被曼城清洗,传说罗马,马德里竞技,汉堡都有意引进他,而拜仁也把他看作哈格里夫斯离开后的代替者.据说只要550w英镑就可以买断他的合同
