Sensi on his way out
Roma chief Franco Sensi has admitted that he is preparing to leave his beloved Giallorossi.
Speculation in recent months had suggested that Sensi was preparing to sell the club and those claims have been confirmed.
"We are a great club and I’ll sort out a number of things in December but I can’t go on for too many more years," he stated. "But I’ll only leave Roma to people who are worthy."
(我们是一个伟大的俱乐部,而且我在十二月还有俱乐部的相关事宜要处理,但是我知道我不会长期担任罗马主席了,如果要把罗马转手我只会把俱乐部交给更有资金的人)
Possible new owners include Claudio Toti or the Angelini family who have been linked with the side in the last six months.
Roma are currently flying in Italy but there are real fears that their financial difficulties may see a number of their best players sold next summer.
"No one will leave," insisted Sensi. "Even if there is one player that I’m not sure whether we can keep a hold of. We’re currently negotiating." That man is believed to be Emerson.
"But right now everything is going well," added the chief. "The side is strong. Chivu is the best defender in the world, while I like Cassano exactly how he is."
Sensi also maintained that his relationship with boss Fabio Capello is good after their misunderstandings of the past.
"Things are going well with Capello," he continued. "While Franco Baldini is a great sporting director who has never let me down."
