Giallorossi captain Francesco Totti warns Lazio fans he has prepared another message under his jersey for Sunday’s derby showdown.
“I am thinking about another of my special T-Shirts for the game,” he revealed on satellite station ‘Roma Channel’. “It will be an amusing message.”
The Italian international is a Roma man born and bred, so when he scores in the derby it is of tremendous importance to him and the fans.
Several years ago he hit the headlines when unveiling a shirt that read, ‘Vi ho purgato ancora’ – I’ve cleared you out yet again – during the 1999 match.
Another Derby della Capitale message was ‘Sei Unica’ – You’re one of a kind – and both T-Shirts were quickly copied and sold around the Capital.
Yet these statements were criticised by various newspapers in Italy for being of an unsporting nature and providing a bad example for youngsters.
"I just hope that Totti behaves like a Champion," noted Lazio President Ugo Longo.
Both sides of the Capital are now waiting with baited breath to see Totti’s latest memo to the fans.
