Parma have confirmed the signing of Italian international forward Marco Delvecchio on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal after impressing in a trial at the Stadio Tardini.
Delvecchio started training with the Gialloblu last Saturday and has done enough to warrant a contract.
The former Inter player will now partner Bernardo Corradi in attack following the summer departure of Alberto Gilardino to Milan.
Delvecchio was available for transfer after he was released by Brescia at the end of last season.
He only joined the Lombard outfit in January from Roma but failed to assist them in their aim to avoid relegation.
The Azzurri player, who scored in the Euro 2000 Final against France, can play in attack or on the left-wing.
Delvecchio is highly experienced at Serie A level, having made his debut in March 1992 during Inter’s 1-1 draw at Fiorentina.
