Il Romanista has printed a nice interview with Amantino given to Corriere dello Sport. In it he says that he has never asked to go to another club, and that he will respect his contract (which runs until 2009).

And even if he is agent to Emerson, this history does not effect me and Roma. I want to win more with Roma, and score again versus Lazio".

Amantino also says that he has never been courted by other Italian clubs: "Juve and Inter have never contacted me. I do not know if they have made offers to la Roma. I knew something of Valencia and Real Madrid. When I went to Milan it was only to make things clear between my agent and the club. I was unhappy and alone then, but soon you will again see me laugh."
