新闻已经肯定,帕努奇受伤告别国家队(估计是近来因伤没有打上场比赛所以训练不太系统的缘故)但是他会缺席多少天的时间还没有给出来:AS Roma defender Cristian Panucci has left Italy's Coverciano training camp after he suffered a new injury to his ailing ankle.
"It's the same old ankle that hurts me. It's a month things go on like this. From today on I'll cure myself as I say," an extremely nervous Panucci said upon his departure from the Azzurri's home.
Marco Delvecchio should be out of action for at least four weeks after he suffered a thigh strain during training with Italy.
“I felt a terrible searing pain in my right thigh,” revealed the striker. “I think it is a serious strain.”
Tests are yet to be completed on the Roma star, but if his initial impressions are confirmed then this type of injury will require a month on the sidelines.
Delvecchio pulled up during yesterday’s final training session ahead of the Euro 2004 qualifier with Azerbaijan.
He was clearly limping heavily on his right leg when leaving the field in the Stadio Granillo.
“This is a really unlucky time for me,” he added. “I can feel that an injury this painful has to be a torn muscle, or at the very least a strain.”
He is the second Roma player to pull out of the Azerbaijan game, as Christian Panucci suffered an ankle problem during the week.
“It is very painful,” explained the former Inter man. “I have never in my entire career suffered an injury to the anterior muscles in my thighs, so I cannot believe it has happened right now.”
Delvecchio back in December Saturday 11 October, 2003
Hospital tests have shown Marco Delvecchio’s thigh injury to be worse than previously thought.
Initial reports suggested a month-long lay-off for the Roma striker after he felt a thigh strain during yesterday’s training session with Italy.
However, on Saturday evening the scans on the right thigh highlighted two relatively deep tears in the muscular structure.
A bruise has also formed between the two muscles, so club doctors fear that it will take at least six weeks of treatment to get him back to full fitness.
We are unlikely to see Delvecchio on the field again until December at the earliest following this serious injury.
Meanwhile, Giallorossi starlet Gaetano D’Agostino has been assured he can recover from an ankle problem within a few days.
The creative midfielder was instrumental in the Under-21 side’s 6-0 win over Azerbaijan last night.
