Julio Baptista's adventure at Roma could come to an end after a single season. The Corriere dello Sport today claims that the Lupi are ready to listen to offers for the Brazilian hitman should they fail to secure a place in the Champions League. The Eternal City outfit’s chances of returning to Europe’s premier club competition next season took a potentially fatal blow last Saturday, when they lost 4-2 to Lazio in the Derby della Capitale. Luciano Spalletti’s men are now trailing fourth-placed Genoa by eight points with just seven games remaining and missing out on a lucrative berth in the Champions League could force the club to tighten their purse strings in the market next summer. Therefore, president Rosella Sensi could consider parting company with a few top stars whose wage packets weigh heavily on the Giallorossi’s budget. Baptista, who earns 3 million per season including bonuses, has failed to make a big impression this term and could be sacrificed. The Brazilian is allegedly a target for several Premier League teams, including big spenders Manchester City.

Questa mattina il Corriere dello Sport paventava la possibilità che Julio Baptista, approdato in giallorosso la scorsa estate, per motivi di bilancio possa lasciare la Roma. Contattato telefonicamente il procuratore del brasiliano, Herminio Menendez, non lascia trapelare nessuna emozione, anzi, rimane stupito di questa possibile soluzione: “Non son niente riguardo la possibilità che Julio lasci la Roma. Sono totalmente all'oscuro di questa situazione. Io posso solamente dire che lui sta molto bene alla Roma e che vuole continuare la sua avventura in giallorosso. Se ho sentito la società? 能卖掉不见得是坏事。巴普太糙了。梅内有点可惜，身体弱可以练强壮，不过他太玻璃了，这是硬伤，确实不适合意甲

巴普在罗马犹如鸡肋一般，前腰位置他组织进攻不行，看那停球就让人犯晕，他只能当个影子杀手，但对罗马的中场而言太亏，罗马需要有不错的前场组织进攻的人物，打边锋，他那熊一般的体格又太浪费，踢中锋，他又老喜欢回撤，而且经常背身拿球他也不喜欢，还是卖了吧，他跟罗马快速进攻打法不合，巴普适合去控球型的队伍！

武西尼奇在意甲打了几赛季这赛季让他更靠近球门也就进这点球巴普刚来都能适应成这样你说谁更水？
好歹巴普的身体在对抗中有点优势有时候还能防守点作用上比武西尼奇大多了

Roma To Sell Julio Baptista To Atletico Madrid - Report
Roma striker Julio Baptista could be heading towards a summer move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid, according to AS.

The Spanish paper reports the Rojiblancos are keen to land the Brazilian ace who has not had the best of seasons at the Olimpico. Baptista joined Luciano Spalletti's men last year from Atleti's bitter rivals Real Madrid, and he could be heading back to the Spanish capital.

It is said Roma want around 12 million for the hitman, which is more or less the money they paid Real. Atleti are keeping their eyes on the striker. Baptista has not impressed in Rome during his time there due to injuries and a poor run of form.

AS claims the Spanish side are ready to stretch and offer the striker a 2m per season deal. In addition, voices in Italy claim there could be major changes at Roma if powerful businessman Vinicio Fioranelli takes over the club.

The Brazilian insists he never considered leaving the Lupi and vows to show his true colours next season.

Former Real Madrid man Julio Baptista notably failed to live up to expectations last term with Roma, leading to suggestions he could leave the club, but he is adamant he will turn things around next season with the World Cup around the corner.

The Giallorossi players convened at Trigoria yesterday to start pre-season training, but the Brazilian striker was absent as he is still on holiday after taking part in the Confederations Cup with the Selecao.

“I have never considered the possibility of leaving,” the ‘Beast’ told the Corriere dello Sport.

“I have three more years left on my contract with Roma and I want to honour it. There will be the World Cup next year and it’s very important for me to have a good season.

“I am settled in Rome and this club can give me the opportunity to have a great World Cup.”

Roma missed out on a Champions League place last season and there has barely been any action in the transfer market so far as the owners are engrossed in takeover talks.

“I don’t know what is going on and I prefer not to talk about situations I don’t know about,” said the 27-year-old.

“It’s a great disappointment to be left out of the Champions League. Last year it was Milan and now it’s our turn. A bad season can happen, but the important thing is to start over on the right foot.”（Goal.com）

我仍然认为巴普是一笔不错的投资。停球、技术、灵性差点，但是护球、过人、传球、任意球、头球、射门都还不错。其实他的头球已经是队里进攻队员中最好的，即使是全队也就梅克斯胡安德子比他强。很喜欢他的大力爆射，有托蒂当年的霸气。
上赛季打左边锋的几场，左路内切右脚大力抽射的进球好像好几个呢，我认为这就是现代足球。

光头用野兽确实打边路的比赛不少，还是现在的阵型没有一个耍的开的
其实罗马这种水平的球队，不走边路肯定是打不起来的，可是没有好的边路球员硬拉别的类型的球员去顶也不是好办法
野兽还是走前腰或前锋好些
看看今年的古贝蒂吧，或许梅内斯突然开窍了呢

野兽出场10场起码有5场打边路，3场打前腰，2场打前锋！
打边路就不说了，是个人都知道他不行了；
打前腰，他还凑合，但是跟他搭配的前锋基本都是老托，两个大慢猴凑一起能有什么效果？
打前锋，没问题，很适合，可惜是球霸专属的，要不就是57 的，很难轮到野兽了。
 
上赛季中段的双前锋阵型玩的好好的，不知道那根筋短路了，又玩起单前锋，一塌糊涂的成绩，佩服!

是糙，但也是相对的。
就这体格，罗马现在队中又有几个技术比人家好的？
野兽就是双刃剑，用好了攻城拔寨，用不好就是鸡肋，食之无味
