La Roma sarebbe tornata alla carica per il portiere del Le Mans, Yoann Pelé (26). A rivelarlo è L'Equipe, secondo cui la società giallorossa vorrebbe assicurarsi le prestazioni dell'estremo difensore transalpino già a gennaio, per strapparlo alla concorrenza di Portsmouth e Tottenham Hotspur.

Pele To Stay With Le Mans
The French transfer window has been a decidedly low-key affair this January, more about moves that didn’t materialise than those that did. Fittingly, it seems that one of the few sagas that has run the course of the month will end in a similar vein as Yohann Pele has declared that he will remain at Le Mans until the end of the season.
A highly-rated 26-year-old goalkeeper, Pele has attracted the attentions of several Premier League clubs and had been reported today to be closing in on a move to Serie A outfit Roma. However, such rumours were dispelled in an interview with Foot+ this evening.
“I will remain [in Le Mans] until the end of the season,” declared the stopper, who has recently been rewarded for his fine displays with a call-up to the French international set-up. “I will not leave the ship in mid-season. I want to help Le Mans stay in Ligue 1. Everything must be given to Le Mans.”
The Sarthe outfit suffered a disappointing 2-0 reverse against Nantes at home this evening, a result that leaves Yves Bertucci’s young side in a precarious position. Pele was not particularly impressed with his side’s performance and has struggled to put his finger on the reasons why a good start to the match came to naught.
“We will not take away from their victory,” he said. “We made a good start to the match but then I don’t know what happened. We lost too many duels and they deserved to win the game. They were more motivated than us.”
Le Mans, after a bright start to their campaign, have tumbled down the league and are now only six points clear of the drop zone. They will need all of Pele’s talents to help turn their season around in the coming weeks.

La Roma pensa a Pelé
Il portiere da affiancare a Doni nella prossima stagione dovrebbe essere Yohann Pelé. L'estremo difensore, già nel giro della nazionale francese, a fine stagione si svincolerà dal Le Mans, potendo così accasarsi ad un altro club a parametro zero. La Roma dovrà però guardarsi dalla concorrenza del Bordeaux. Questo è quanto afferma il "Corriere dello Sport".

Lo stop di Doni sarà più lungo del previsto. La Roma ha quindi la necessità di acquistare un portiere di livello a prescindere dal futuro dell'estremo difensore brasiliano. Non più un dodicesimo, ma un portiere che inizi da titolare per poi lottarsi il posto con Doni una volta che il brasiliano sia disponibile. Il primo nome sulla lista di Pradè è Yohann Pelé, portiere del Le Mans che si svincolerà al termine della stagione in corso. Intervistato da calciomercato.it, Duro Ivanisevic, procuratore del giocatore ha ammesso la possibilità di un futuro giallorosso, ma anche l'accanita concorrenza per accaparrarsene le prestazioni. “Ci sono alcune squadre in Italia che sono interessate a Yohann - ha dichiarato Ivanisevic - ma ancora non c'è stato nulla di definitivo con nessuno di questi. Ma lui è molto seguito anche in Inghilterra. La Roma non è l'unica squadra a volere il giocatore, anche se di concreto non c'è ancora nulla. I giallorossi sono una delle opzioni per noi. La Roma è una grande squadra, e penso che a ogni giocatore piacerebbe giocarci per migliorare e penso che questo discorso sia valido anche per Yohann”. Infine su un futuro ancora con la maglia del Le Mans Ivanisevic glissa immediatamente: “per Yohann è arrivato il momento di fare uno step importante in carriera e questo può essere fatto solo in un campionato più impegnativo di quello francese”.
