Chievo’s Simone Perrotta won’t make a decision on his future until after Euro 2004.

The Italian international is expected to leave the Stadio Bentegodi but his agent is in no hurry to finalise a deal.

"For now it is just important that Simone thinks about the European Championships," said Giuseppe Bozzo. "Then we’ll consider the offers together."

The former Bari and Juventus player has been heavily linked with a move to the Italian capital.

Roma are interested as they look for alternatives to Emerson who is set to be sold this summer.

A move Bozzo seems keen on. "Roma are certainly a great club," added Perrotta’s representative.

Now that Gigi Del Neri is officially the new Coach at Porto, Chievo warn Roma that his protégée Simone Perrotta could follow.

“Perrotta is not a Roma player,” assured Director General Giovanni Sartori. “The Giallorossi are interested, but there are other sides looking at him, including Porto.”

There were reports emerging that the midfielder had already agreed a £5m move to the Capital, but that it would only be announced after Euro 2004.

However, the Flying Donkeys took great pains to point out this was certainly not the case, and Roma must raise their offer if they are to beat off competition from European Champions Porto.

“Perrotta deserves a prestigious and great club for the future of his career,” added President Luca Campedelli, “but there is no agreement in place with Roma.”

The 26-year-old is now an Italian international, but his career truly flourished under Del Neri’s guidance and it seems the tactician would like to continue this rapport in Portugal.

Chievo must also look to their own future, and the director general pointed to their next Coach. “It will be one out of Beppe Iachini, Attilio Tesser or Mario Beretta.”

All these tacticians currently ply their trade in Serie B. Iachini is a free agent, having already announced his departure from Vicenza, while Tesser took Triestina to the verge of promotion. Beretta is also on the fringes of the battle for the top flight with Ternana.

La Roma ha già trovato il sostituto per Emerson. La società giallorossa ha chiuso la trattativa per l'acquisto dal Chievo di Simone Perrotta, anche se l'affare sarà ufficializzato solo a luglio, dopo che nella casse di Sensi sarà entrato il denaro ricavato dalla cessione del brasiliano. L'accordo è stato trovato mercoledì: il giocatore riceverà un milione di euro a stagione per quattro anni, mentre alla società clivense ne andranno sette.

La Roma non ha perso tempo per rimpiazzare Emerson. Il primo colpo della gestione Prandelli è Simone Perrotta, centrocampista del Chievo e della nazionale, per cui i giallorossi hanno battuto la concorrenza dell'Inter e del Porto. Soprattutto la squadra lusitana sembrava vicina all'acquisto del giocatore, ma la volontà di Perrotta di rimanere in Italia ha fatto la differenza. Anche perchè il Chievo per il centrocampista chiedeva dieci milioni: ma i giallorossi hanno fatto sapere di non essere disposti ad offrirne più di sette, e alla fine la società gialloblù ha mollato.
Giovedì a Trigoria il ds giallorosso Baldini ha incontrato l'agente del giocatore Bozzo, che tra l'altro è lo stesso di Antonio Cassano: al termine di un breve meeting l'accordo è stato trovato, per un quadriennale da un milione di euro a stagione. Sempre giovedì l'intesa è stata raggiunta tra Baldini e il ds del Chievo Sartor, con la Roma che ha rifiutato anche l'ultima richiesta dei clivensi, la comproprietà di De Rossi. E dal ritiro azzurro, lo stesso Perrotta ha strizzato l'occhio alla Roma, anche se ha dichiarato di non sapere nulla della trattativa: "Roma è una città unica, mi piacerebbe giocare lì". E' stato accontentato.

The articale bascially says that this is Prandelli's first acquisition.
The deal hasn't been confirmed for two reasons. The first is that Sensi wants to include this signing in the new budget which starts on 1 July. The second is that Emerson has not been sold yet, and his sale will fund this acquisition.
The article says that Bozzo, Perrotta's manager (who is also Cassano's manager) met Baldini at Trigora on Wednesday and came to a quick agreement - a 4 year deal worth around 1 million a season.
Sartori, of Chievo wanted 10 million for the deal, but it was agreed on 7. Chievo also wanted part ownership od De Rossi or Aquilani, however that was declined.
The article then goes on to show some of Perrotta's comments - he says he believes in Prandelli's plan and has discussed the tactician with Ferrari. He says it will be a challenge to be playing 3 competitions.
Towards the end of the article he speaks highly of both Totti and Cassano saying they are "two great champions"
He says Cassano has asked him where he wants to live, and Totti speaks to him every night to see if the deal has been completed.

The Giallorossi appear to have solved their financial problems and are in advanced negotiations with Italian international Simone Perrotta.

The Chievo midfielder played every one of the Azzurri’s games in Euro 2004 and scored a goal in the 2-1 win over Bulgaria.

He had long been associated with a move to one of the big clubs this summer, with Inter, Juventus and even Gigi Del Neri’s new side Porto showing concrete interest.

However, reports suggest that Roma have come to an agreement with the Flying Donkeys to capture the player for £4m plus the loan of young forward Corvia.

The Giallorossi have seemingly solved their financial woes following President Franco Sensi’s decision to sell off some of his assets, including property and shares in newspapers.

The Capital club is also close to capturing Siena’s Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Taddei on a four-year contract. Some sources claim a move could be sealed and confirmed by next week

E11不走不会买的，就算走也不一定买，买来肯定得打主力，那德罗西还是替补？佩罗塔防守还可以进攻不太行，和E11没得比，我看买他不如培养德罗西，买个不错的替补就可以了，德罗西再不给主力说不过去

Inter Milan are continuing talks today with Chievo Verona today over midfielder Simone Perrotta.
Under pressure by rival interest from Palermo, Inter are attempting to wrap up a deal this week for the highly-rated Italian international.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is serious about bidding for Perrotta, who is rated at £6 million by Chievo's board.

Inter have so far indicated they will pay £4 million for the midfielder, though negotiations will continue today.

La societŕ giallorossa ha chiuso la trattativa per l'acquisto dal Chievo di Simone Perrotta, anche se l'affare sarŕ ufficializzato solo a luglio, dopo che nella casse di Sensi sarŕ entrato il denaro ricavato dalla cessione del brasiliano. Perrotta's move to Roma is dependent on Emerson being sold. If the Brazilian stays with Roma, then Porto are confident they will land Perrotta ahead of other interested clubs.

Roma are set to step up their interest in Chievo Verona midfielder Simone Perrotta after the Italian international trained his sights on a move to the capital.

Chievo are reluctant to offload Perrotta during the summer but are fielding heavy interest in the player.

European champions Porto - now coached by former Chievo chief Luigi Delneri - have repeatedly tried to sign Perrotta.

Serie A giants Roma have also had a long-standing interest in the midfielder and are gradually defining their transfer targets.

They are now likely to increase their efforts to land Perrotta after Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori confirmed the player wants a transfer to Stadio Olimpico.

"Perrotta wants to go to Roma," Sartori told a Roman radio station.

"I can't unbalance myself about the possibilities of him arriving at Roma but there are many clubs who are looking to sign him.

"There is, firstly, Porto's interest but he wants to go to Roma."

据说切沃的要求是，佩罗塔转会代价为，500万欧元，加科尔维亚或阿奎拉尼，或托马西。
如果搭上两个年轻球员，应该是租借吧。尤其是阿奎拉尼，罗马是绝对不会放的。
