Roma have made a shock move for Atalanta veteran Cristiano Doni. It's emerged the 34 year-old has agreed personal terms with Roma intermediaries. Doni, a former Roma favourite, must now convince Atalanta president Ivan Ruggeri to allow him to leave. |

其实这个人能力还可以，就是该早点签来，据CM显示早些年（好像0304季）完全可以免费签的，结果事实上就给亚特兰大签去了，现在就是免费都没什么意思了……

Rejuvenated Atalanta forward Cristiano Doni has ended speculation linking him with Roma by confirming he will stay with the Orobici.
The 34-year-old enjoyed a revelatory season at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia netting 13 times having returned to Italy from Mallorca last summer.
Doni’s exploits sparked suggestions that hometown club Roma may sign the ex-Bologna man as cover for next season, but agent Paolo Conti has revealed that no formal offer was made.
“There was nothing concrete from the Giallorossi,” he told Teleradiostereo 92.7. “We know that Roma rate him very highly, but he will be staying at Atalanta next year.
“We are now considering talks with the club regarding extending Cristiano’s contract which expires at the end of June 2008.”
Roma will also not be making a move for the unsettled Valeri Bojinov, according to sporting director Daniele Prade’ despite recent speculation that the Lupi were lining up a bid for the Bulgarian.
“I can assure you that we have no interest in Bojinov,” he stated on Firenzeviola.it.

Cristiano Doni has extended his contract with Atalanta until 2009, announced President Ivan Ruggeri.
There were fears the captain would walk out on the club after an argument with Ruggeri, but this afternoon the two parties agreed to put pen to paper.
“We hope that Cristiano will continue to play for a long time yet. It would mean he is in good shape and Atalanta need a player like him,” said the patron.
This is the Italian international’s second stint at the club, as he had the most successful years of his career here from 1998 to 2003, earning him a place in the 2002 World Cup squad.
He had disappointing stints at Sampdoria and Real Mallorca before returning to Atalanta in the summer of 2006.
“Obviously I am satisfied with the deal. Now to celebrate he can put in one of his wonderful performances this weekend.”
Atalanta welcome Lazio to the Stadio Azzurri d’Italia on Sunday afternoon.
Former Biancocelesti defender Leonardo Talamonti is expected to start in central defence with Antonio Langella out wide on the left.
